Abstract labour

Abstract labour in a sense is that which is manipulating in the abstract space, and this line of thought can be traced back to marx, who distinguished it from concrete labour, i suppose one could go further and create a definition of abstract labour as that which manipulates or rather abstracts, as thinking would be a subset of abstraction. this for instance would fit the manipulation of memes whether voluntary or involuntary.
